The Central Africa Transport Infrastructure Enhancement Initiative is a strategic regional development project designed to modernize key transport corridors across the CEMAC sub-region. Aligned with the Consensual Master Plan for Transport in Central Africa (PDCT-AC), the initiative focuses on upgrading vital road networks to high-quality, paved standards to establish year-round, reliable transit between capital cities and key commercial centers. By replacing existing infrastructure deficits with durable, modern highways, the initiative seeks to lower transit costs, secure supply chains, and build a competitive, fully integrated economic community that drives local trade and long-term regional development.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

  • Boost Trade & Integration:<\/strong> Expand cross-border commerce and optimize supply chain routes to position the CEMAC area as a competitive economic zone.<\/li>\n
  • Connect Landlocked Areas:<\/strong> Bridge critical infrastructure gaps to unlock isolated markets and integrate landlocked territories into the broader regional economy.<\/li>\n
